I have two children Zara who is turning 18 next month and is currently studying for her leaving exams. I do feel sorry for her as the points to get into college are huge and she feels under a lot of pressure.
I also have a son Ryan who is 16 and in transition year in Glanmire Community College which is our local school. As part of his course, he had to get some work experience so I had him in the office working on administration tasks.
I thought it would be difficult to work with my son in the office but he was outstanding and really worked hard for the two weeks. Above is a picture of us on his first day and yes I did have to loan him a shirt and tell him to iron it!!
