Parents who have a child with additional needs will be receiving their Christmas Bonus the week beginning 6^th of December. In 2021, the Christmas Bonus will be 100% of your normal weekly

• Disability Allowance
• One-Parent Family Payment
• Carer’s Allowance
• Carer’s Benefit

The minimum payment is €20.

If you are getting 2 payments then you will receive a Christmas Bonus for each payment. For example, a One-Parent Family Payment and the Domiciliary Care Allowance or a half-rate Carer’s Allowance as well as your primary payment.

For parents getting Domiciliary Care Allowance, the bonus will be paid with your monthly payment on 21 December 2021.
