From 3rd of February 2020, a registered disability modified vehicle will now be able to pass through all tolls in Ireland for free under the one scheme.
Registration is easy and can be done online at https://dtes.ie/dtes-application-form/.
Once your vehicle has been verified, you will receive a disc that you will then need to permanently display on the driver’s side windscreen. You will still have to stop at the toll plaza so an operator can see the disc and open the barrier (except M50).
The disc will be valid for two years from the date of registration.
To apply you will need the following information:
• Individual contact details;
• Your Vehicle Registration Number (Licence Plate Number);
• Your Vehicle Registration Certificate which provides validation and proof that your vehicle qualifies for the Disability Toll Exemption Scheme under the Revenue Scheme rules.
