Corrin Event Centre, Fermoy Co Cork.
I attended Corrin Event Centre, Fermoy, with my Mum as part of my work experience with Financial Wellbeing.
I was first met by Andrew Geary who welcomed me to the centre and introduced me to members of the Lions club who helped us bring in our booklets and stand. They were very nice and helpful.
I enjoyed everything there and it was very good to attend it because I got to meet new people.
We asked people to sign up for our newsletter. We saw lots of different dogs from different organisations there. The dogs were so well groomed and very well behaved, some of them barked, which made me laugh and jump. The event centre was very big and they had a disabled bathroom.
I met people from organisations that I had never heard of before:
The Lions club
My Canine Companion
CAN Cork Autism Network
Dogs for the Disabled
Autism assistance dogs Ireland
Irish Guide Dogs
I also met a clown, who was in a room upstairs entertaining children with spiders and stuff like that, I decided not to go there, but he was funny.
The food was lovely there and Bill had the place spotless.
I would attend a function in The Corrin event Centre again.
David.
