I&#039;m currently out of hard copies as I&#039;ve supplied the East Cork Parent &amp; Friends of The Mentally Handicap with my last 60-copies. The booklet is currently available on the website to download for free. Alternatively give me a quick call on 021 482 3635 and I can let you know what other entitlement you can claim.

RE: Disability allowance
There are no specific guideline on when to apply, I recommend my clients to start the process 3-months out but for a more accurate answer i would suggest you ring the local disability allowance section. 

RE: Payment
Most of my clients have it set up so the money is paid in to a joint account. This will give you and Edmond access. Alternatively you can have it paid in to the post office and become an agent so you can collect it on his behalf.
